Is the service really FREE?
This is: Church is completely free to use at the point of access. We don't charge any upfront or ongoing costs for you to add your church and share your activities with your community.
If you choose to use This is: Church to securely handle your donations and tithes, or to raise funds for specific events, you would need to have a Stripe account and connect it to this platform. In that situation there will be transaction fees associated with each donation (from Stripe and from us). This is how you support the ongoing work of this platform.
What are the fees on donations?
Stripe charges a standard 2.9% + 30c on each successful transaction for domestic cards payments.This is: Church charges a standard 2% on all successful transactions.
Can the fees be reduced?
Stripe does offer a discount on their fees in certain circumstances if your church or ministry is registered as a US 501(c)3 non-profit entity. For more information, check out their Q&A page.
